Marco Fernando Navarro is a Peruvian American writer from Queens living in the Bronx. He holds an MFA in Creative Writing from New York University and a PhD in Communication and Rhetoric from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. (Also a BA from Queens College!) He is an Assistant Professor of English at Queens College. His research and fiction is inspired by Latinx and Queens quotidian cultures and investigates the intersections of identity, literacy, digital rhetoric, oral history, and memory. His fiction has appeared in Huizache, The Acentos Review, and word~river.
